Many beloved Kalevala pieces were created in the 1940s by Mr Germund Paaer, the first Head of Design at Kalevala. In his artistic designs he brought together the most beautiful details and ornaments of ancient Finnish jewelry. Among his most iconic designs is the Moon Goddess with its tinkling charms that ward off evil spirits and thoughts. Width 28 mm. Anchor chain 60 cm, spring ring clasp.

Care instructions for bronze jewelry

Bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which
tarnishes faster than precious metals. The new bronze jewelry has a jewelry protector
varnish surface that prevents the jewelry from darkening. With the Kalevala cleaning cloth, you can
polishes areas that have dimmed if the protective varnish has worn off.
After cleaning, it's a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water, so as not to damage the cloth
the cleaning agent inside stains clothes.
