The Halikko necklace is modeled after a chain of finely decorated silver beads, part of a medieval silver treasure discovered in Southwest Finland in 1887. The impressive necklace is one of the most iconic Kalevala designs and has appeared in many variations over the decades. This simple, elegant version consists of round spiral-patterned beads and plain, unpatterned oval-shaped beads. Length 70 cm.

Care instructions for bronze jewelry

Bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which
tarnishes faster than precious metals. The new bronze jewelry has a jewelry protector
varnish surface that prevents the jewelry from darkening. With the Kalevala cleaning cloth, you can
polishes areas that have dimmed if the protective varnish has worn off.
After cleaning, it's a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water, so as not to damage the cloth
