PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

The smooth silver surface of the engraving charm can be personalized with a message of your choice. The gold-plated reverse side features the rough, organic texture characteristic of the Itu collection. Wear as a pendant on the chain of your choice or on a hoop earring.

There is space for a short engraving on the reverse side of the pendant. The engraving is split across two lines, with a total space for approximately 20 characters. A typical engraving includes a name and a date. You may also choose to leave the pendant blank.

The Itu (Finnish for sprout) collection is born from the sculptural vision of designer and artist Martin Bergström. Itu is inspired by new life growing from a seed – by shoots that push up from the soft soil of the forest or through tiny cracks in city streets paved with asphalt.

The collection brings together silver, gold-plated silver, and glass beads in bold, unexpected ways. Itu invites you to create your own unique combination.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
