The organic shape of the large Männyt (Finnish for pines) earrings cast in silver entices you to come closer and take a closer look. The large Männyt earring is the same size as the silver pendant in the series (height 31 mm, width 24 mm). Stud fastening. The earrings are mirror images of each other.

The Männyt jewelry series is designed by Finnish jewelry designer Ildar Wafin. The talented young designer has achieved success in international fashion competitions and was awarded the Young Talent prize at the Finnish Fashion Awards in 2024. Wafin's collection draws inspiration from the pine trees growing in the archipelago, their resilience, and rugged beauty.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
