PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

Made of bronze glowing like gold, the Männyt (Finnish for pines) hoop earring is highly sculptural and attractive, but thanks to its hollow structure, it is pleasantly light to wear. The jagged structure on one side of the earring creates a sharp contrast to the smooth, softly waving surface. The jagged structure is either visible or hidden depending on which ear you wear the earring on. The earrings are mirror images of each other. The earrings are hinged, and the fastening pin locks into a silicone plug hidden inside the earring.

The Männyt jewelry series is designed by Finnish jewelry designer Ildar Wafin. The talented young designer has achieved success in international fashion competitions and was awarded the Young Talent prize at the Finnish Fashion Awards in 2024. Wafin's collection draws inspiration from the pine trees growing in the archipelago, their resilience, and rugged beauty.

Care instructions for bronze jewelry

Bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which
tarnishes faster than precious metals. The new bronze jewelry has a jewelry protector
varnish surface that prevents the jewelry from darkening. With the Kalevala cleaning cloth, you can
polishes areas that have dimmed if the protective varnish has worn off.
After cleaning, it's a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water, so as not to damage the cloth
the cleaning agent inside stains clothes.
