From the book:
"Touching stories from the world of clay huts. Viola Wallenius was only 18 years old when she went to Kenya for the first time. The trip to volunteer changed the direction of the young woman's life. Years later, Viola settled in a small village with her husband and eight adopted children. Home in Kenya is full of stories and encounters about life in the village of Makongeni. Every encounter has shaped Viola to understand the world and humanity in a new way. He tells stories about acceptance, humanity and how extreme people can go in times of need. In the book, the families' lives are often intertwined in a dramatic way."
