The Kalevala Christmas ornament 2026 is based on a Viking Age chain divider found in Tyrkkölä, Nokia.

A Kalevala Christmas ornament is jewelry for your home. It will set the mood and bring the spirit of Christmas to your home, year after year. The silver ornaments are numbered collectors’ items, and the year of manufacture stamped on them will tell generations to come when the ornament was made. Only 120 silver ornaments were made, and they are available exclusively in our own Kalevala stores and webshop.

The red ribbon on the ornament is made from recycled PET bottles.

The 2026 Kalevala Christmas ornament is the Nokia Jewelry. It is inspired by a bronze chain holder found in Tyrkkölä, Nokia - an archaeological find from the Viking Age. Its spiral form brings a touch of Finnish history to Christmas.

The silver Nokia Jewelry Christmas ornament is a special edition crafted as a numbered series of 120 pieces.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
