The small Kalevala Bear pendant measures 13 mm in width and 14 mm in height (including the bail). Patterned on both sides. Oval pea chain, adjustable length 38/41/45 cm. Spring ring clasp. Available in silver and bright bronze.

Designed by Kaisaleena Mäkelä in the 1990s, Kalevala Bear was part of the extensive Inception collection that drew inspiration from jewelry featuring mythical animal motifs, worn by northern peoples in ancient times. The beloved classic now returns with a new look to celebrate Kalevala’s 90^th anniversary. The items are stamped with the anniversary year logo.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
