PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES
Crafted in 14-karat gold, the necklace is a reproduction of the Himmeli pendant designed by Paula Häiväoja in the 1960s. The original piece was also made of gold.
With its collar-like appearance, the necklace chain is composed of articulated linked sections and is available in lengths of 40, 45, and 50 cm. The pendant measures 114 mm in height and 85 mm in width.
Made to order, with a delivery time of 8 weeks. The piece will be produced in a limited edition of no more than 90 numbered items. Also available in silver.
Fashion artist Paula Häiväoja (1929–2011) was the Head of Design at Kalevala Koru from 1963 to 1967. As the company approaches its 90th anniversary, Kalevala Koru honors the design legacy of its first female Head of Design by introducing jewelry inspired by Häiväoja’s futuristic jewelry art of the 1960s. The items are stamped with the anniversary year logo.
