The Moon Goddess designed by Germund Paaer in the 1940's is probably the most iconic among the Kalevala Originals. With her tinkling charms, like the golden rays of the moon, she casts away evil thoughts and lights up the world and the mind. Moon Goddess, the best-known Kalevala Classic was inspired by the most beautiful details and ornaments of Viking Age jewelry. Moon Goddess, named after the Kalevala, was designed by Germund Paaer in the 1940s.
Bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which
tarnishes faster than precious metals. The new bronze jewelry has a jewelry protector
varnish surface that prevents the jewelry from darkening. With the Kalevala cleaning cloth, you can
polishes areas that have dimmed if the protective varnish has worn off.
After cleaning, it's a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water, so as not to damage the cloth
