Space silver
The space silver collection was born in 1969, when Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. The enthusiasm and joy born from the event inspired designer Björn Weckström. The silver jewelry designed by Weckström is also inspired by the sculptural shapes blown by the wind.
Planetary valleys and Darina's jewelry, which belong to the space silver series, are the most internationally known Finnish jewelry. They rose to world fame in 1977 as Princess Leia's jewelry in George Lucas' Star Wars movie. At the same time, Björn Weckström made an international breakthrough as a jewelry artist and designer.
